John Wilkinson receives the Reed Cup from Sheila Black
John Wilkinson, playing with a handicap of 7, won the May Handicap Weekend. He beat Mike Steer (+2t) in the quarter-final, Nigel Gardner (Dunfermline) (+9) in the semi-final and Brian Christmas (Shrewsbury) (+7) in the final.
Jim Penney (Shrewsbury) won the Consolation Egyptian.
